How often should render be cleaned?
Because render is most commonly on residential homes, it should be cleaned once a year to 18 months or whenever it starts to look dirty.
We revisit most of our clients seasonally to cover all exterior cleaning jobs. In addition to render cleaning, gutters should be cleared periodically which will also have a bearing on your render staying clean - a contributing factor to dirty render is overflowing gutters, where water flows down the roof and straight over full gutters onto the front of the house. Another common fix we carry out is to leaking gutters, most commonly at joints or where cracks appear.
